What it measures

• Retrievable and quotable (35 points) — robots.txt access for ten AI user agents, canonical, sitemap, and the meta directives that forbid quoting: noindex, nosnippet, max-snippet:0.
• Extractable evidence (25) — statistics, direct quotations, cited outside sources, question-and-answer pairs, and a penalty for keyword stuffing.
• Answer structure (25) — heading depth, section lengths against the 150–300 word band, share of structured elements, internal linking, and whether the page answers near the top.
• Machine-readable identity (15) — declared schema types, sameAs, a stable @id, and page freshness.
• Token efficiency (15, capped) — how much of the fetched response is content.

Why token efficiency is capped at 15 of 100

No study in the surveyed corpus identifies token count as a citation driver, and one found that body-only optimisation reduced top-20 retrieval presence by about 9%. Token count decides whether a fetch completes, not whether a page is chosen. Weighting it higher would make the score a quote for our own product rather than a measurement.
